Short Films Screening by Adeel Wali Raees
Join us at the Pakistan Chowk Community Centre as we witness the work of the emerging film maker Adeel Wali Raees. This film screening will be of the following short films:

The screening will be followed by a small talk by the film maker himself, who will enlighten us with his journey towards film making and speak briefly about the developing process of each film showed.
About the Speaker:
Born on 16th February, 1989 in the family of artist Wali Raees, Adeel Wali Raees started acting when he was 7 years old. His debut appearance was in a Balochi movie directed by his father titled "Karachi Maara Nasachi". He proceeded to act in several movies after that and in 2015 starred in a biopic for the great boxer Syed Hussain Shah. Though the role was a small one, appearing on the big screen was a great achievement for him.
He started his career as a film maker with a few of his friends, and later developed his own production called AWR Production. Like other fields, he flourished in short film making as well and went onto receive the first prize at the 2016 Expo Pakistan for Best Short Film, and has been nominated for the Dubai Film Festival as well. Other short films by him including Poster, Bakht, and Save Water have been nominated for several international awards.
