AN EVENING OF WOMAN EMPOWERMENT
BREAKING BARRIERS:
Breaking barriers is a 10 min documentary which was officially nominated in Delhi Film Festival this year. It is based on two sports women of Pakistan, Joyce and Joyann. Joyce was denied the right to play for Pakistan in General Zia’s era but she never gave up. She managed to train her daughter, Joyan who now plays for Pakistan and is a source of pride for her.
PEERZADA M RIZWAN:
Mr. Peerzada M Rizwan is a documentary film maker who started his career from Ghazanfar Ali’s Combine Media. Since then he has been associated with different TV Channels. His short film “Thank You Madam”, titled “Chor” in Urdu, was based on an American writer’s tale. I t was nominated in 3rd Jaipur International Film Festival.
ATIF BADAR:
Atif Badar has been a part of the Theatre, Drama, Acting and Entertainment media for the past two decades. From theatres, voice-overs, mini screens to a film such as Ramchand Pakistani, he has an extensive portfolio of work. He started his career in 1993 with Tehrik-e-Niswan as a theatre actor and now serves a theatre teacher himself.
