MEET THE ARTIST- Thajba Najeeb!

Pakistan Chowk Community Centre is proud to host a discussion with Bahrain based artist, Thajba Najeeb. The discussion will revolve around her experience of working in the field of arts & students & emerging artists can have a conversation with her about the field & its challenges.

About the artist:

Thajba Najeeb is currently the Head of Department of the Visual Arts Department at Ibn Khuldoon National School, Bahrain.
She completed her Bachelors in Fine Arts from University of Dubai in 2005, & has a Certificate of Teaching in Private sector of education from Bahrain Teachers College (2017).

Nested on a small island called Bahrain, she has roots from Lahore, Pakistan and branches flowing from USA and Dubai – where she studied art. After trying out a career as an interior designer, she decided to spread her creative force in a classroom where she enjoyed hearing the echo of her voice as a teacher – talking about art, the movements, the artists, brilliant ideas and concepts.
